Carla and Tori’s Barcelona wedding: a passionate love in the middle of a Mediterranean-flavored oasis
Between urban gardens and passion.
The love story of Carla Tamborra and Tori is confirmation that everything happens for a reason. An intense and unique love that ignores the barriers of time and space. “Their love story began shortly after they met. We wanted to recreate the encounter between a young couple immersed in a sincere love who decide to let their emotions take over and capture the moment forever.”
Carla and Tori’s meeting in the city confirms the beauty and simplicity of those celebrations that escape the traditional and manage to surprise. The pre-ceremony event was held at Praktik Garden, an authentic urban garden in the heart of Barcelona. “We wanted it to be private and intimate, and in the center of the city, so we could connect before the ceremony.” This is a beautiful, minimalist hotel with a Mediterranean feel, a true oasis in the heart of Barcelona’s Eixample district, where Ana Faustino’s studio is also located. Every corner is a surprise and its terrace is a marvel.
When it came to choosing their wedding dresses, both were clear that they would wear dresses from the new 2023 Passion Collection with a bohemian and romantic touch. So, Claudia and Tori went to Ana Faustino’s Atelier. “From the very beginning, we knew their wedding dresses were exactly what we were looking for, thanks to their comfortable and beautiful, fully custom-made pieces.”
For her first dress, Carla chose ‘Entrégate a mis brazos’ from the Pasión collection, in embroidered tulle and a crepe skirt, with a plunging neckline and sheer drop sleeves, a sensual and minimalist design.
Tori, for her part, chose to wear the “Forget Me Not” design, a short dress for a casual and original bridal look with organically shaped embroidered tulle and silk chiffon cape sleeves.
Later, Carla wore a second dress made with recycled fabrics, for brides who care about the future and the planet.
Followed by a third dress made of embroidered tulle with volume in the bat-shaped sleeves. A dress designed and inspired by the most bohemian and extroverted brides.
To finish the day, Carla wore a final outfit consisting of a plain recycled georgette jumpsuit with a very elegant Walter collar, which she completed with shoes from our custom-made collection. Carla wears the Gabriel model and Tori wears the Marlene boot in turquoise. All our pieces are custom-made and handcrafted.
The photographs, created by Marta and Cris’s team , “One of the Sea and the Other of the Sand ,” perfectly reflect the magic of an intimate and spontaneous celebration. Once again, they surprise us by capturing the best moments and the smallest details of the wedding.
The makeup was done by María José Hermina , who with her natural tones managed to create an elegant yet sober style, leaving the brides-to-be looking splendid.
We thank the entire team for their dedication in making this collaboration a reality, for recreating this journey that allows us to imagine an intimate wedding between two wonderful women.
